The core of Evans County’s healthcare system is Evans Memorial Hospital, a licensed 49 bed, acute care hospital offering an exceptional range of medical services. The Jack Strickland Rehabilitation Center, located across the street from the hospital, is a fully equipped center (including aqua therapy), staffed by physical, occupational, speech and massage therapists. There are two assisted living facilities in the Evans County Community. NorthSpring Assisted Living (a licensed 19 bed facility) and The Griffin House (a licensed 10 bed facility with a 14 bed separate Alzheimer’s unit).
