Claxton-Evans County Junior Board
The Claxton-Evans County Chamber of Commerce Junior Board of Directors has been going strong since it’s inception in November 2005 and is doing much to improve life not only for the youth in our community, but for the community as a whole. The Junior Board of Directors participates in community activities throughout the year and represent Evans County in the Hands on Georgia program each Fall. Junior Board members receive leadership development training and hands on experience dealing with issues and challenges that face our community. The Junior Board is comprised of high school age students from Claxton High School, Pinewood Christian Academy, and the Christian Home School Educators Association. Membership is through a nomination and selection process.
