48th Annual Claxton Rattlesnake & Wildlife Festival

The 48th Annual Claxton Rattlesnake & Wildlife Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 14 & 15, 2015, at the Evans County Wildlife Club located at 501 Cedar Avenue, Hagan, Georgia (just west of Claxton off Highway 280). This two-day festival historically attracts some 15,000 visitors to Claxton, Evans County , Georgia and features plenty of captive rattlesnakes, snake handling demonstrations and wildlife educational programs. Organizations from throughout the state such as the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Georgia Southern University Wildlife Center, Let’s Get Wild, Quails Unlimited, and the National Wild Turkey Federation among others will be joining us to promote wildlife conservation and provide educational programs.
